FAWE Ghana is the Ghanaian Chapter of Forum for African Women Educationalists (FAWE) which is a pan-African Non-Governmental Organisation that also operates through 33 other National Chapters in sub-Saharan Africa to promote girls’ and women’s education


To promote gender equity and equality in education in Ghana by fostering positive policies, practices and attitude towards girls’ education by working with partners at global, continental, national and local levels



A world in which all Ghanaian girls have access to education, perform well and complete their studies, and gender disparities in education are eliminated



Professionalism, Integrity, Transparency and Accountability, Result Oriented, Respect for human right, Diversity, Innovation and Inclusiveness.



To increase access and retention as well as improve the quality of education for all girls within the school system and out of school, and for women in tertiary institutions as well as those in various professions in Ghana.
